Contest Rules
By entering this Photo Contest participants agree to be bound by these rules and all decisions of Dover Saddlery.
1. ELIGIBILITY Employees, directors, contractors and consultants of Dover Saddlery, Inc., its subsidiaries and their immediate family and household members are not eligible to participate.
Photos must be of yourself, a friend or family member. You should own the copyright for the submitted photo or you must have permission from the copyright owner to submit the photo.
Dover Saddlery will review all photographs before they are posted to the website and reserves the right not to post any photo based on content.
2. CONTEST PERIOD The Photo Contest begins August 17, 2010. The uploading and voting period will be open until September 30, 2010. Beginning October 1, 2010 we will no longer accept photos for the contest. October 1 through October 15, 2010 will be the final voting period. The contest officially ends on October 15, 2010.
3. WINNERS The winner of each category will be determined by total number of votes. Ties to be broken by Dover. Winners will be announced by November 15, 2010.
4. PRIZES Grand Prize (overall best photo) - $250 Dover Saddlery Gift Certificate. Category prize (best in category) - $100 Dover Saddlery Gift Certificate. Category Second Place Prize (second best in category) - $25 Dover Saddlery Gift Certificate. Prize cannot be substituted for cash. Prize is non-transferable and no substitution will be made.
5. GENERAL CONDITIONS By entering this contest, entrants are giving permission for their photographs to be displayed on DoverSaddlery.com and in future Dover Saddlery catalogs.
Entrants agree to grant to Dover, its licensees, affiliates and assigns, the right to print, broadcast and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, including the winner's name, portrait, picture, likeness and biographical information as news or information and for advertising and promotional purposes, without additional consideration.
Dover Saddlery is not liable for any omission, loss, damage, delay, illegibility, alteration of, or unauthorized access to entries submitted, nor for loss or injury to any entrant or entrant's property including the equipment, systems or data of entrants or others.
The contest award prizes, rules and conditions are subject to change without prior notice. Winners will be notified by email, at the email address provided on the winner during registration. While every reasonable effort will be made to contact each winner, Dover Saddlery is not responsible should prizes go unclaimed. This contest is void where prohibited by law.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT WILL DOVER, ITS LICENSEES, AND OR ITS PARENTS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES AND RELATED COMPANIES, ITS ADVERTISING OR PROMOTION AGENCIES OR ITS RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS, BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF ENTERING OR WINNING THE DOVER SADDLERY 2010 PHOTO CONTEST.
